The role of an interior designer involves a lot of coordination between interior decorators and architects as well as other experts. These programs prepare students for jobs that require knowledge of interior decoration from an apprentice level to the highest level. Most of the programs require a four year bachelor’s degree in interior design. Some schools may also require an associate degree.
